This toaster is an object with an elegant design: the colours chosen by the author and the pleated surface offer ample reason why it is a real eye-catcher on any kitchen work surface. It contains three buttons to Stop/Eject, Defrost & Bagel. 6 browning levels. Designed by Michele De Lucchi, this is a range inspired by the pliss© that come from the fashions of the 1950s and 1960s when pleated skirts created stunning effects of floaty and frothy fabrics, but the pliss© is still contemporary. Pleats give volume to dresses, conveying a sense of lightness and happiness. In a word, the Pliss© is a highly iconic form that we have taken for its cheerful and festive spirit. The crumb tray can be easily pulled-out like a drawer. The outer shell is made from thermoplastic resin while the internal parts are made from stainless steel.
